Nate Hamilton 2012 wrap from Corey Denomy on Vimeo.
bluemedia was introduced to Nate Hamilton and his crew through our good friend Jarod DeAnda, the voice of Formula Drift (who also has one of the coolest blogs around). Nate is a up and comer in the XDC drifting events around the country. bluemedia had the privilege of helping Nate and his crew wrap there Nissan 240sx with this years new livery. 5 and a Dime out of California designed the wrap for Nate this year. The theme was a kick back to 80′s / 90′s skateboarding with its bright purple wood grain and black grip tape graphic.
We had the opportunity to get a few ride alongs with Nate in this 450hp V8 Nissan
This young man is full of talent and we are sure we’ll see him hit the pro circuit very very soon. Here is a quick bio on Nate: Well, got into skateboarding around 2004. Got super hyped on the “DO IT YOURSELF” style sports. Naturally as i grew up a bit CARS come into play and I just instantly had an attraction to motor sports! It took me a bit to truly find the love of drifting and how much it reminded me of skateboarding. All it took was a few rainy winter days with a good friend JORGE LOPEZ and i was hooked! From there we attended local events as much as possible, turning into an addicted roller coaster ride every drifter knows about!! Broke this, blew this up, hit that pole haha but never looking back! So the journey continues!

Keep an eye out for Nate and the rest of the One44 Motorsports crew this year at your local XDC drifting events! Big thanks to Nate and the crew for knowing that bluemedia was the right company to tackle such a complex wrap such as this one. We are more than excited about the look of this vehicle and can’t wait to see more videos from Nate getting sideways in this beast!

Completed in less than a week, bluemedia wrapped not one, but six light rail trains plus ceiling graphics…a first in printing history! The six different trains were wrapped in 3M adhesive back vinyl with 3M luster laminate to advertise for MLB’s 2011 All-Star Game festivities at Chase Field and the Phoenix Convention Center on July 10 - 12. The six different trains were wrapped to feature the major events taking place throughout the duration of the week: the All-Star Game, ASG FanFest, ASG Events, MLB and Boys & Girls Club, and the ASG Junior RBI Tournament.
The fluidity of blue’s install team was so smooth for the duration of this project that the six trains were completed in record time! 33 pieces were produced and installed in order to execute MLB’s artwork on one side of the train, which essentially equals 66 pieces per train. In addition, four 16 foot ceiling graphics were installed on the interior of each train, which has never been done before. A total of 420 pieces were created, cut and installed with zero reprints and not to mention zero errors. That’s one grand slam!
“The wraps and the ceiling graphics look amazing! They are an attractive addition to our system and the public response has all been positive. Thank you Dbacks, MLB and bluemedia for your artistry and hard work.”

bluemedia would like to congratulate Dan Wheldon and Bryan Herta Autosport for winning this year’s Indy 500. This was also the 100th Anniversary of the race, which adds special meaning to an already prestigious event. In addition, this is also Dan’s second victory in the 500!
We were contacted by BHA in early April to wrap a show car for their new sponsor WilliamRast, Justin Timberlake’s denim culture clothing line. They signed on for a one race deal at the Indy 500 and where the show car was unveiled at the Long Beach Grand Prix. bluemedia was given less than 3 days to complete this wrap, which took a total of 30 man hours to complete by one of our top installers – Indy cars are not easy to wrap!
The show car was unveiled along with the sponsorship announced inside the IZOD Indycar Pavilion at Long Beach where it remained on display for the duration of the race weekend. The vehicle was then moved to the Ronald Reagan Library where it will reside for a couple of months.
Congrats to Dan Wheldon and Bryan Herta Autosport from all of us at bluemedia!

Recently, bluemedia completed a top secret wrap for Cruz Pedregon, driver for Snap-On Racing. This was the first special wrap for the 2011 season that was produced and installed in our 55,000 square foot state of the art facility in Tempe, Arizona.
The design will be revealed at the O’Reilly Auto Parts NHRA Route 66 Nationals in Chicago, July 17 – 19th. Chicago is the “home” track for Snap-On Racing with their corporate headquarters located nearby in Kenosha, Wisconsin. There, Cruz will be representing many Snap-On employees, as well as franchisees throughout the nation. Cruz has had a very solid season currently ranked 4th best driver in points.
