bluemedia just made another TV appearance, this time on a commercial. Recently blue created a vehicle wrap for Van Go Activities that they featured on their latest commercial. Not only that, our exterior doors for the Diamondbacks were also featured. That’s two in one!
At this rate, you’ll be seeing us on TV during the Super Bowl!

bluemedia proudly took part in the opening of a Dan Haren Field this week. The facility was built for the Miracle League, an organization that helps disabled children participate in America’s favorite past time, playing baseball. The facility is designed to cater to the needs of children who would have difficulty utilizing a standard baseball field.
Partnering with Sun Devil Trophy and the Scottsdale Charros, blue’s structural division contributed the finishing touches leading up to the grand opening of the field. blue cemented under the pavilion entrance of Dan Haren Field, an eight foot wide, three-eighths inch thick, circular, aluminum medallion, which reads “The Miracle League”, and features their logo. In addition, blue did the signage for “The Founders Wall”, featuring the logos of the Scottsdale Charros, Arizona Sports and Tourism Authority, Scottsdale Unified School District, and Diamonds Back Fields.
The grand opening was a home run hit! Everyone from Baxter, the Arizona Diamondbacks’ mascot, to Scottsdale’s Mayor Jim Lane came out to participate in the first game at the field. Also in attendance were CEOs of the Scottsdale Charros, APS, Arizona Diamondbacks, Arizona Sports and Tourism Authority, and Hunt Construction, along with MLB Hall of Famer, Harmon Killebrew, D-Back legend, Luis Gonzalez, and former D-Backs, now Anaheim Angels’ pitcher, Dan Haren, who stopped by before having to take off to pitch a game with the Angels! All of the children and everyone involved had a blast! It was truly an enriching experience and blue is proud to have been involved.

The official start of the 2011 MLB regular season is just around the corner, literally. The first home-game for the Diamondbacks will be played on April 8th. Off-season has been painful for all of us as we sit around idly waiting in anticipation of hot dogs, peanuts, beer, and of course cheering on the D-Backs. And we can’t forget to mention the atmosphere: there’s nothing like being surrounded by thousands of fellow fanatics in the epic stadium Phoenicians call home, Chase Field. If you thought what I previously mentioned was enough to look forward to, think again!
You know those giant, doors beyond the outfield that open and close along with the retractable roof? They are now updated to feature inspiring images of Diamondback’s baseball that are sure to enhance the enjoyment of the fans’ experience… and you have bluemedia to thank for that.
You’re welcome. Enjoy!
